Ustad Zakir Hussain needs no introduction as one of the foremost artist in global music. Having honed his craft under the tutelage of his late father, the legendary Ustad Alla Rakha , Zakir Ji quickly made a name as a young virtuoso in the ancient Indian rhythmic art of Tabla.

Ustad Zakir Hussain delighted the London audience with his magnificent Tabla performance and he was beautifully accompanied by young Sarangi Player  Satwinder Pal Singh.

This evening of Indian Classical Music was organised by Tabla maestro Pt.Sanju Sahai and Kaashi Arts on November 1st,2022 in Union Chapel, London to marks a tribute to one of India’s greatest Tabla artists, the late Pandit Sharda Sahai Ji.
